Punctuality
Islam teaches us to be punctual in our every day life. All of us are given a limited time to live in this world, so we must not waste that time. Allah will ask us about how we used our time, when we were living in this world.
The Character Of Worship In Punctuality:
Allah has made namaz compulsory five times a day. We have to pray punctually within the given time. Similarly, fasting in the month of Ramazan has to start and end at a given time. Zakat is given regularly every year. Hajj is performed at an exact time of the lunar year.Everything In Nature Follow A Discipline:
Everything in nature follows a discipline and keeps proper timings. Night always comes after day, seasons follow the same order, the Earth moves at a certain speed around the Sun. The whole order of nature teaches us to be punctual in everything we do. It teaches us the value of time and helps us to discipline our lives and to have an order and a system in our work.Rise Early In The Morning:
If you do not rise early in the morning, you will leave many tasks of the day undone. Again, if you sleep late at night, you cannot enjoy sound sleep and so you cannot get up early the next morning. If Children eat on time and do your homework punctually, you will get time to relax, play, or watch TV. A sense of punctuality keeps you happy and healthy and your family free for worry.Advantages Of Punctuality:
There are many advantages of being punctual. You do not have to rush and run all the time . You are never late for school, office, or any other appoinment. Your friends can trust you to be on time. You can win the respect of those who know you.Time Is So Imporant:
Time is very precious. It does not wait for anybody. Once gone, it never comes back. If you do not use time properly, you can not prosper in life. You must learn to be punctual if you want to succeed in life, so try to make punctuality a habit.Punctuality Of Our Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam):
Our Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) was a strict follower of time. He never left his work incomplete. Every one of his companions was also very punctual.Hazrat Umar Farooq (Radhiallahu' Anhu) the Second Khalifa of Islam wrote to one of his rulers, 'Remember, punctuality increases ability. Tasks left undone come in heaps and those tasks eat into the vitality of man and at last make the doer weak.'
